Recapping a Star-Studded Opening Weekend of Summer Recruiting For Alabama Football
The Tide also offered several recruits in the 2026 and 2027 classes scholarships after solid camp performances from the following players: Brock Harris, Jabari Mack, Cederian Morgan, Keenan Pula, Tyson Robinson, Andrew Beard, Cole Crawford, and Valdin Sone while others may have received scholarships without sharing to social media.
Crimson Tide host some visitors with connections
The easiest way to land a recruit is with a familiar face helping the staff and the Tide had a few examples of that this weekend. Zykie Helton was re-united with High School teammate Caleb Odom who will likely be someone Helton leans on in his recruiting process. The Tide also hosted Mater Dei cornerback Chuck McDonald who went bowling with former Mater Dei standouts Domani Jackson and Zabien Brown. The pair can be vital for Alabama as both play McDonald's position while Jackson can speak on the biggest differences between McDonald's apparent favorite USC and Alabama.
Alabama Continues Making Strong Impressions on 2025 Recruits
The top priority for Kalen DeBoer and his staff this weekend was recruiting players in the 2025 recruiting class. The Crimson Tide hosted nine 2025 recruits this weekend with one five-star, seven uncommitted four-stars, and a three-star recruit. The five-star recruit was Ty Haywood, who ranks as the nation's ninth-ranked player and the second-ranked offensive tackle. The Tide are looking to make up ground on Haywood who grew up an Alabama fan and Haywood said the following after his first ever trip to Tuscaloosa this weekend:
"It brought back a spark, that is a great staff and great people over there."
