The Alabama Football team hosted four-star tight end Kaleb Edwards on a visit while Lockett was in town and Edwards has declared that the Alabama Football team is the new front-runner in his recruitment. This weekend the Tide hosted the Nation's top linebacker Ty Jackson on an official visit while he participated in camp which always impresses the staff. Five-star receiver Derek Meadows was on campus as well, and after the visit, the Tide have certainly put themselves in contention to land him another elite recruit.

A Clear Change in Approach from DeBoer and his staff

This summer has shown a clear change in approach on the Alabama recruiting trail going from Nick Saban to Kalen DeBoer. Saban could jump into a recruitment on National Signing Day if he wanted to and most athletes would consider signing with him. DeBoer and his staff don't have the track record of Saban but their new school style of recruiting is seemingly proving to be successful. The Tide is making every player a priority and you can't deny the returns at this point as Alabama Football has the Nation's third-ranked class.
