The Wide receiver position is the most wide-open position heading into the Spring as no combination of starting receivers would be all that surprising. The group will have to replace its top two receivers in Jermaine Burton and Isaiah Bond as well as Malik Benson who started for nearly half of the season.

The position returns plenty of talent with players like Kobe Prentice and Kendrick Law at the forefront when it comes to starting receivers. The duo has contributed in both seasons they've played for the Alabama Football program and will certainly contribute again however, the role in which they play will be an unknown.

The returning receiver I'd expect to take the biggest jump in 2024 is rising Sophomore Jalen Hale. Hale recorded 5 catches for 148 yards and a touchdown in 2023 but, will be the breakout player on the team in 2024. Hale plays with great speed and well above his 6"1 size as shown in the Ole Miss game.

The additions to the program are where the excitement will stem from heading into the 2024 season. The player every Alabama Football fan will want to see on the field is True Freshman Ryan Williams, as an Alabama native and one of the top players in the country Williams will certainly earn an extended look in camp. Williams has elite speed and his route running and frame have drawn comparisons to Devonta Smith.

A player that will certainly be used in the offense is Washington transfer Germie Bernard whose play style is similar to Kendrick Law's. Among the incoming Freshmen competing for a role will also be Rico Scott, Amari Jefferson, and Aeryn Hampton all of the freshmen are talented enough and bring different elements that may see them play a significant role.
