Another hot morning in Tuscaloosa provided added insight into the Alabama Crimson Tide. Categorized as 'means little yet' but still; Kadyn Proctor was working with the first unit offensive line at left tackle. One reason to expect Proctor to be the starter throughout the season is his somewhat reshaped body. He is showing improved balance and quickness. There was never any reason to question his strength but no doubt, it has also improved.

After the practice session, Kalen DeBoer reminded that players, including the tackles are being rotated, indicating no significant change in Proctor's starter status for now.

A small cast on Zabien Brown's wrist and hand was seen at practice. DeBoer reported the injury is minor and will only slow Brown for a couple of days. Talking more about the freshman cornerback, DeBoer said, "He just doesn’t feel like a freshman out there ... I’ve got a lot of trust in him already.” Fans can choose what to make of the praise, but it suggests Brown has a solid chance to start early in the season.

Asked what position group has done the best through four days of Fall Camp, Deboer answered it is the defensive line, based on their consistency. In previous media sessions, asked about the spring and summer development, DeBoer had credited the offensive line with leading the team.

Though still early for starter predictions, four practice days, along with comments by the coaches point to Keon Sabb and DeVonta Smith joining Malachi Moore as starters in the secondary. On Saturday, Kane Wommack described Sabb as "a very special talent." DeVonta is reported to be 100%, for what feels like the first time in his Crimson Tiude career. Look for Moore and Sabb to be the starting safeties, with Smith starting at Husky.
