  • Oklahoma Sooners (3-1) at Auburn Tigers (2-2) - 2:30 PM CST - The Sooners are favored by 2.5 points. The Tigers may be in free fall, with Hugh Freeze showing what everyone in college football except Auburn knew he was. Brent Venables will go with true freshman quarterback, Michael Hawkins Jr. who stood out in Oklahoma's loss to Tennessee. Freeze may have trouble finding a QB who wants to play for him, given how much the coach has trashed his guys. The Sooners are great at causing turnovers and not great at pass protection. Oklahoma will be forced to rely on a strong running game and Auburn has the defensive talent to counter it. A loss will cause an Auburn meltdown. My take is some miracle Auburn win. The Bold Upset pick is Auburn squeezes by to reach 3-2.
  • Colorado Buffaloes (3-1) at UCF (3-0) - 2:30 PM CST - UCF is a 14.5-point favorite and sports college football's best rushing offense, at 375 yards per game. Colorado is tied at No. 71 in rushing yards allowed. The two stats indicate that UCF will win easily. The problem for Gus Malzahn is his team is unable to effectively pressure opposing quarterbacks. That weakness will allow Shedeur Sanders to feast on the UCF defense. In the UCF win over TCU, the Horned Frogs passed for over 400 yards. Sanders may hit 500 yards in Orlando. The Bold Upset pick is the Buffs knocking UCF from college football's unbeaten.
