  • No. 10 - Kentucky Wildcats (1-2) - A great effort by the Wildcats came up short, at 13-12 to Georgia in Lexington. Hence the big bump from last week ranked at No. 16. Next up is Ohio in Lexington
  • No. 8 (tie) - LSU Bengal Tigers (2-1) and South Carolina Gamecocks (2-1) - Three points separated the LSU win from the South Carolina loss on Saturday. The final score could have easily been flipped and probably should have been. Next up for LSU is UCLA in Tiger Stadium and South Carolina hosts Akron.
  • No. 7 - Oklahoma Sooners (3-0) - The Sooners beat Tulane 34-19. Next up are the Tennessee Vols in Norman.
  • No. 6 - Missouri Tigers (3-0) - Missouri handled Boston College 27-21 in the Tigers first true contest of the season. To continue the cushy Missouri schedule, Vanderbilt comes next in Columbia.
  • No. 5 - Ole Miss Rebels (3-0) - Ole Miss took down ACC lightweight, Wake Forest 40-6. At some point, the Rebels will play a good team, but not soon. Next is Georgia Southern in Oxford.
