Who Alabama Basketball is targeting in the transfer portal
Frankie Fidler - Small Forward - 44th Ranked Transfer
The final player Alabama has shown serious interest in early on is Omaha transfer, Frankie Fidler. The Junior is a high-caliber scorer scoring 20.1 points per game with 6.3 rebounds per game and 2.6 assists per game adding 1.2 steals per game on defense. For his career, Fidler is a 35.4% three-point shooter shooting 42.9% as a Freshman.
Playing time at small forward will be difficult to find if Rylan Griffen returns with incoming freshman Naas Cunningham as well. The Wing could give the Tide another high-upside scorer as Fidler's shown an ability to take over games scoring 34 points in the Summit League semifinal.
Expect Alabama Basketball to make one or two splashes in the portal
Once Alabama Basketball finds out who plans on returning for the 2024-25 season you can fully expect the program to pursue high-caliber players. After Nate Oats announced he was returning the expectation is a higher spending output in NIL. The Tide will look to show off after a Final Four appearance with a possible championship-caliber roster coming back next season.
