Leading up to a revenge game against Vanderbilt, who knew that a stuffed dinosaur would be on the minds of so many Alabama football fans. Well, we're not saying anything new here, as members of the Alabama faithful have been a touchhhhhh annoyed with Ryan Williams for walking out with his stuffed T-Rex he got from a friend on full display.

Alabama lands another commitment as Kalen DeBoer keeps building impressive 2027 class

Said T-Rex has been carried by Williams for every game this campaign, but that wasn't the case leading up to kickoff against Vanderbilt. Bama indeed has revenge on its mind here and the full focus is on taking down Diego Pavia and Co. This is of course the case for Williams too:

Ryan Williams did not walk out with his stuffed T-Rex for Alabama vs. Vanderbilt

Well then, could this lead to Williams returning to form and looking like one of the top wideouts in the country? That's what Kalen DeBoer and his staff are hoping for, as the sophomore has been a bit off his game to start the new campaign.

Williams was downright electric last year, with everyone expecting him and Jeremiah Smith to be the two best WRs in the country for '25. However, Williams has been hit with a case of the drops this year and something just feels off with him as a whole.

In four games for Alabama in '25, the speedster has posted 15 receptions for 238 yards and two touchdowns. Those are not the type of stats that people thought would be on the way out of him, but there's still plenty of season ahead for him to turn things around.

On Saturday, a massive home showdown against Vanderbilt is on the way. When the Commodores stunned Bama last year, no one saw it coming. Since then, Pavia and his teammates have been talking a bunch of smack, including before this Week 6 clash. The Alabama players are going to want to shut them all up, with Williams needing a statement game to get some people off his back too.
