The softball regular season is in the books, and for Alabama, it was a good one as the Crimson Tide head into the SEC Tournament as the No. 2 seed, receiving the all-important double-bye. Finishing the season 47-6 and 19-5 in conference play, the Tide has a ton of momentum heading into the postseason.
The SEC Softball Tournament won't be an easy one, especially with the top four seeds being Oklahoma, Alabama, Florida, and Texas, and the feeling that all four will be in the Semifinals. However, SEC Network's Tori Vidales believes the Tide could do more than just win a tournament title.
SEC analyst believes Alabama softball could win it all
Momentum is everything in any sport, and especially in softball, playing your best games at the right time is what makes National Championship teams. Alabama could very well be that team as the Tide are playing their best softball right now.
SEC Network softball analyst Tori Vidales believes that the Tide should have bigger dreams than just an SEC Softball Tournament title, saying this team could win it all right now. Offensively, Alabama is right where it needs to be, and Vidales believes that is the key to the Tide taking it all.

Right now, as a team, Alabama has an overall batting average of .328 and a stellar on-base percentage of 1.011. The Tide has hit 83 home runs this season with three players, Brooke Wells (21), Alexis Pupillo (15), and Ana Roman (12), all with double-digit dingers. This is also a team that is patient at the plate, with 207 walks and just 218 strikeouts.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Tide has two very strong pitchers that they can turn to with Jocelyn Briski and Vic Moten. Both Briski and Moten have taken the load of pitching for the season, with Briski leading the way with a 20-2 record and Moten close behind with an 18-4 record.
Briski has thrown 12 complete games and has an opponent batting average of .181, 167 strikeouts, and just 17 walks. Moten has an even better opponent batting average of .147, but is more prone to walks with 44 free passes, and 151 punchouts as well.
If Alabama has ever had the best chance at winning it all, this season feels like it. The offense is there after a few years of quieter bats, and with two top-tier pitchers in the circle, the Tide could make a run in a year that feels as wide open as ever.
