The SEC Women's basketball tournament gets started on Wednesday, March 5th in Greenville, South Carolina. March Madness is here, folks.
In the latest bracketology on ESPN, 10 SEC teams were projected to make the NCAA Tournament. That should make for a competitive and fun tournament in Greenville.
Top seeds South Carolina and Texas (co-SEC champs) could be on a collision course for a rematch in the SEC Championship Game. Both the Gamecocks and Longhorns are projected No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament. But there are plenty of talented teams that could play the spoiler role. LSU, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Alabama are all capable of making a run and pulling an upset or two.
