Three Georgia Factors Favoring a Bulldog Win
- The Bulldogs have an effective rushing attack. It wears down opposing defenses and takes pressure off Gunner Stockton, having to win with his arm. Alabama's run defense has struggled. The Alabama run game has been inconsistent, and while Jam Miller could make a difference, he will need improved performance from the Tide's offensive line.
- The Sanford Stadium crowd could be worth as much as four points in a game that otherwise should be considered a pick'em. Alabama's road woes have been an anchor holding the Crimson Tide back from its standard of success. Alabama cannot afford communication issues against the Bulldogs, especially with false starts by the offensive line.
- A field goal may decide the game. Georgia has one of college football's best kickers in Peyton Woodring. Alabama has a still unproven Conor Talty.
