There's a heavyweight matchup going on between No. 7 Alabama and No. 1 Auburn, but there's simply no room for this. In the second half, with the Crimson Tide and Tigers going back and forth, Auburn veteran Chad Baker-Mazara was ejected and the fans in the stands were shocked.
However, when taking a closer look at things, there was no question at all that CBM 100 percent deserved to be ejected. On this particular play, Baker-Mazara was going at it with Alabama's Chris Youngblood. Baker-Mazara got away with one elbow, but then he fired another one right into Youngblood's neck area. This was a cheap shot and one he was punished for:

Chad Baker-Mazara recieved a flagrant 2 for a cheap shot on Chris Youngblood
We don't care if you're the biggest Auburn fan on the planet, you simply can't defend this kind of behavior. Tensions have been riding high all game and tempers were rising from the moment Grant Nelson threw down a poster jam and trolled Johni Broome.
Since then, these two teams have landed plenty of jabs on one another, with this proving to be one of the best games of the campaign. However, what was Baker-Mazara thinking here? He simply has to know better than to make this kind of a mistake in a huge SEC rivalry game.
A quick look on social media shows that people are calling him out left and right and understandably so. Bruce Pearl had to be livid seeing this happen too, but Bama fans don't care about that. Props to Youngblood too for keeping his cool and not retaliating. The CBM ejection is no question going to be brutal for Auburn too, as he's a key presence on the hardwood for the Tigers. Alabama will look to take advantage of him having to watch the rest of the game from off the floor.
