Jalen Milroe was beloved by his teammates with Alabama during his four years in Tuscaloosa. A sparkling example of that was the reaction of former Crimson Tide CB - and 1st Round pick by the Detroit Lions last year - Terrion Arnold when he saw Milroe being selected on Friday night.

Milroe had a long wait. Some thought he had a chance to sneak into the 1st Round. Most assumed he would go in the 2nd Round. But he fell toward the end of the 3rd Round before his slide ended when the Seattle Seahawks selected him with the 92nd overall pick.

There probably wasn't anyone more excited than Arnold to see Milroe finally realize his dream:

Arnold had just sat down with ESPN Radio when Milroe got selected. His excitement was too great to even finish the interview. He had to get up and walk away so he could call Milroe to congratulate him. The folks hosting the show sure didn't mind - they got a perfect soundbite and a viral moment out of Arnold's reaction.

Arnold and Milroe were teammates for three seasons in Tuscaloosa. The two helped rally the 2023 team behind the "LANK" philosophy following an early-season loss to Texas. Alabama rebounded and won 11 consecutive games on the way to an SEC Championship and a berth in the College Football Playoff.

Terrion Arnold had a couple of viral moments at the NFL Draft

Terrion Arnold went to Green Bay for day two of the NFL Draft and had a great time. He got to see one of his closest friends drafted by the Seahawks, and before that, Arnold got to announce one of Detroit's selections. Of course, Arnold had to antagonize the home crowd filled with Green Bay Packers fans, one of the chief rivals of his Lions:

Arnold had to throw some shade at the Packers. Detroit and Green Bay were in a deadlock for the NFC North crown last season before the Lions beat the Packers in Week 18 to secure the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC playoffs.
