It was another banner week for former Alabama football players in the NFL in Week 17. The Crimson Tide has a ton of talent in the league and every week that talent shines. Last week, the Alabama touchdown streak moved to 100 weeks, meaning a former Crimson Tide player had scored a touchdown in 100 consecutive weeks, a streak that dates back over six years.

If you were concerned, that streak comfortably moved to 101 weeks and was taken care of on Christmas Day with zero anxiety.

A special shoutout this week to Amari Cooper, who didn't quite crack the list, but Cooper made a ridiculous touchdown grab for the Bills and surpassed 10,000 career receiving yards in the process.

Bryce Young just missed the list this week despite another multi-touchdown game, though the Panthers got routed by the Buccaneers.

Let's take a look at the top five performances of the week.

Top 5 performances by Alabama football players in Week 17

5. Jameson Williams

Jamo will enter the final weekend of the regular season just 33 yards shy of his first 1000-yard season as a pro. He caught five passes for 77 yards and a touchdown in Detroit's 40-34 win over the 49ers on Monday Night Football. Williams also scored a rushing touchdown.

Williams' receiving touchdown came off of a hook-and-latteral play with Amon-Ra St. Brown making the catch and then pitching it to Williams for a 41-yard touchdown.

The Lions face the Vikings next week in a winner takes the No. 1 seed and gets a bye week game. The loser will go on the road to open the playoffs.

4. Mac Jones

After getting traded to the Jaguars this offseason, it was only a matter of time before Mac Jones got another opportunity in the NFL. Things didn't work out in New England, but as a former first-round pick, Jones was always going to get another chance.

Most didn't expect that chance would happen in Jacksonville, but a season-ending injury to Trevor Lawrence has put the spotlight on Jones in his home town.

Jones led the Jaguars to a 20-13 win over the Titans on Sunday by completing 15-of-22 passing for 174 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

3. Derrick Henry

On short rest, the Ravens put their offense on the shoulders of the King against the Houston Texans on Christmas. The King delivered. Derrick Henry rushed for 147 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries, leading the Ravens to a dominant 31-2 win over the Texans to move one step closer to clinching the AFC North title.

Henry is 2nd in the NFL in rushing this season with 1783 yards, behind only Saquon Barkley.

Henry needs 74 yards in the season finale to break Tiki Barber's NFL record for rushing yards by a player over 30-years-old.

2. Jahmyr Gibbs

Jahmyr Gibbs has had the weight of the Lions' ground attack fully on his shoulders the last couple of weeks following an injury to his running mate, David Montgomery.

Against the 49ers on Monday Night Football, Gibbs ran for 117 yards on 18 carries and added 46 receiving yards on four receptions. Gibbs drove the final nail into the San Francisco coffin with a 30-yard touchdown scamper in the fourth quarter to put the Lions up two scores.

Gibbs is now 6th in the league in rushing with 1273 yards.

1. DeVonta Smith

Even with Jalen Hurts out and the Eagles starting backup QB Kenny Pickett, DeVonta Smith put together his second 100+ yard receiving game in the last three weeks. Smith always has more in the tank when the Eagles face the Cowboys, and that held true again on Sunday.

Smith caught six passes for 120 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Philadelphia routed the Cowboys 41-7 and clinched the NFC East title.
