Week 6 SEC Football Power Rankings

  • No. 1 - Alabama Crimson Tide (4-1) - Last week, No. 1 - Alabama beat Vanderbilt 30-14.
  • No. 2 - Georgia Bulldogs (4-1) - Last week, No. 2 - Georgia beat Kentucky 35-14.
  • No. 3 - Texas A&M Aggies (5-0) - Last week, No. 3 - The Aggies beat Mississippi State 31-9.
  • No. 4 - Ole Miss Rebels (5-0) - Last week, No. 5 - Ole Miss was idle in Week 6.
  • No. 5 - Oklahoma Sooners (5-0) - Last week, No. 7 - Oklahoma beat Kent State 44-0.
  • No. 6 - Missouri Tigers (5-0) - Last week, No. 8 - Missouri also had a Week 6 bye and has practically had since Sept. 21 to prepare for Alabama, given their game against UMass on Sept. 27.
  • No. 7 - Tennessee Vols (4-1) - Last week, No. 9 - The Vols were idle
  • No. 8 - Vanderbilt Commodores (5-1) - Last week, No. 6 - Vandy lost to Alabama 30-14.
  • No. 9 - LSU Bengal Tigers (4-1) -Last week, No. 10 - LSU had a bye.
  • No. 10 -Texas Longhorns (3-2) - Last week, No. 4 - Texas lost to Florida 29-21. Sark has a quarterback problem, but there is more wrong with his offense than Arch Manning.
  • No. 11 - Florida Gators (2-3) - Last week, No. 14 - The Gators beat the Longhorns 29-21. Billy Napier has more lives than a pair of cats.
  • No. 12 - South Carolina Gamecocks (3-2) - Last week, No. 13 - South Carolina had a bye.
  • No. 13 - Auburn Tigers - Last week, No. 12 - Auburn had a bye.
  • No. 14 - Mississippi State Bulldogs (4-2) - Last week, No. 11 - The Bulldogs lost to Texas A&M 31-9.
  • No. 15 - Arkansas Razorbacks (2-3) - Last week, No. 15 - The Hogs had a bye.
  • No. 16 - Kentucky Wildcats (2-3) - Last week, No. 16 - Kentucky lost to Georgia 35-14.
