The 2025 NFL Draft is just two days away. The three-day event gets started with the first round in Green Bay on Thursday. The second and third rounds take place on Friday, with the final four rounds taking place on Saturday.
Alabama has plenty of NFL Draft hopefuls, including three players who are in play for the first round. QB Jalen Milroe, LB Jihaad Campbell, and OG Tyler Booker could all hear their names called in the first round, and all three have accepted invites to attend the draft in person.
Though all three are potential first rounders, none of them are locks. Alabama currently has a streak of 16 consecutive NFL Drafts where at least one player was selected in the first round. With Milroe's wide-range of possibilities, Campbell's injury, and Booker's non-premium position, this could be the year the streak ends.
But with all three on the margins, you have to figure at least one of them gets selected in the first round.
On Monday, ESPN NFL Draft expert Jordan Reid published a 7-round mock draft. His mock included seven Crimson Tide players. Here's where he projects them all to land.
Seven Alabama football players in ESPN's latest NFL Mock Draft
- Round 1 Pick 19: Jihaad Campbell, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Round 1 Pick 25: Tyler Booker, Houston Texans
- Round 2 Pick 33: Jalen Milroe, Cleveland Browns
- Round 5 Pick 176: Malachi Moore, Baltimore Ravens
- Round 6 Pick 190: Que Robinson, Los Angeles Rams
- Round 7 Pick 230: Tim Smith, Carolina Panthers
- Round 7 Pick 254: CJ Dippre, New Orleans Saints
Tampa Bay has been a popular landing spot for Campbell in mocks. The Bucs need a defensive playmaker, and Campbell has the physical tools and versatility to be a stalwart at LB for many years to come.
Tyler Booker would join an Alabama-heavy Houston Texans squad coached by former Tide LB DeMeco Ryans. Houston has overhauled their offensive line this offseason and could use a player who has a mean streak like Booker.
In this mock, Milroe falls out of the first round, but he doesn't have to wait long as he's the first player picked in round two. The Browns would allow Milore to reunite with former Crimson Tide OC Tommy Rees, who now calls the plays for Cleveland. Milroe had a terrific season under Rees' tutelage in 2023.
Reid projects a big wait for Alabama following Milroe's selection. Malachi Moore doesn't come off the board for another 143 picks. Moore may not be the most physically gifted player, but odds seem good that he ultimately makes a roster, even if he's merely a special-teams contributor.
The sixth round feels low for Que Robinson. Two weeks ago, Jordan Schultz tweeted out how many teams considered Robinson a day two pick:
Sources: Alabama edge rusher Que Robinson visited the #Lions yesterday, is visiting the #Panthers today, and has upcoming visits with the #Falcons and #Chiefs.

Even if he slips into day three, it's hard to believe he makes it all the way to late in the sixth round with his upside.
Tim Smith performed well at the Senior Bowl and could find himself in the sixth or seventh round range.
CJ Dippre was underutilized at Alabama, but he has the tools of an NFL TE, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see a team take a flyer on him late.
Other Alabama players who could hear their names called this weekend include TE Robbie Ouzts and punter James Burnip. Kicker Graham Nicholson and LS Kneeland Hibbett will look to find work on the undrafted free agent market.
