Alabama football is once again in the primetime slot on ABC for its matchup on the road against the 5-5 Oklahoma Sooners in Norman.

Kickoff will be at 6:30 pm CT as Alabama looks to avoid the rat poison and continue playing well down the stretch. Something has clicked for the Crimson Tide following the road loss to Tennessee in Knoxville and they have reeled off three consecutive dominant wins over Missouri, LSU, and FCS Mercer.

In particular, the win over LSU in Baton Rouge two weeks ago breeds more confidence that Alabama will be able to handle a difficult road envrionment this weekend. Prior to the 42-13 rout of LSU, the Tide was 0-2 in SEC road games on the season.

For the primetime kickoff in Norman on ABC, ESPN is sending its A-list broadcast trio to call the game.

For the third time this season, Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, and Holly Rowe will be together to call an Alabama game. Fowler will be the play-by-play guy, Herbstreit on color, and Rowe will be the sideline reporter.

Alabama is 2-0 in games called by the trio this season. Alabama knocked off Georgia at the end of September with them on the call in one of the best games of the college football season. Two weeks ago, they were on the call for Alabama's blowout win in Baton Rouge.

Hopefully, that trend continues on Saturday night in another hostile environment.
