The 2024 Alabama football team has one final game together as they take on Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl on New Year's Eve. The Crimson Tide will be looking to avenge last season's Rose Bowl loss to the Wolverines, though without a national championship game bid on the line this time around.
It hasn't been the season Alabama hoped for, but a win over Michigan would give Alabama a 10-win season, marking the 17th consecutive season with double-digit victories. That's a streak that's worth preserving.
The ReliaQuest Bowl will be broadcast on ESPN at 11:00 am CT on Tuesday. On the call will be a first-time group for Alabama games this season.
Dave Flemming will handle the play-by-play with Brock Osweiler as the color analyst. Stormy Buonantony will handle the sideline reporting. It will be the first time this season for any of the trio to call an Alabama game.
Flemming has worked for the San Francisco Giants as a play-by-play announcer since 2003 and occassionally calls football and basketball games for ESPN.
Osweiler joined ESPN as a college football analyst in 2022. Before that, Osweiler was a college football quarterback for Arizona State and was a second-round draft pick by the Denver Broncos in 2012. Osweiler was with the Broncos and started several games in the regular season for the eventual Super Bowl 50 champions.
Buonantony is in her fourth year working for ESPN.
