You may be tough, but you're not Josh Ford tough.
The sophomore Alabama TE broke his arm during the Crimson Tide's win over Mississippi State last week. He returned to the game afterward.
If that wasn't impressive enough, Ford underwent surgery on Sunday to repair the broken arm. He immediately started lobbying to play this weekend against Georgia. Ford has been listed as questionable on the availability report all week.
This morning on College GameDay, ESPN's Pete Thamel reported that Ford was set to give it a go tonight against the Bulldogs:

Built Ford Tough is taking on a new meaning.
Alabama fans have heard and seen the type of mentality that Ford has brought with him to Tuscaloosa. His physicality and ability to set the tone have made a huge difference for Alabama this year. It was something that was sorely missing last year, and the Crimson Tide sought Ford out in the Transfer Portal to be a difference-maker.
He has been.
Alabama's run game has taken a massive step forward from last season, and Ford and the TE room have been a big reason why.
This is the exact game that Ford was brought in for, and it's why he has pushed so hard to be able to be on the field. He knows this is why he was brought here.
Alabama not only wants to beat Georgia tonight, they want to prove a point. Last year in the SEC Championship Game, Alabama was physically manhandled by Georgia. The Crimson Tide finished with -3 rushing yards in a 28-7 loss, and while they still made the College Football Playoff, it was the straw that broke the camel's back for Kalen DeBoer in knowing he had to make some major changes at the line of scrimmage over the offseason.
Ford was added from the portal shortly after that, before Alabama faced Oklahoma in the playoff. He kicked off an offseason of change for DeBoer.
That change has paid immediate dividends. Alabama is averaging over 80 yards per game more on the ground than it did a season ago. But Georgia is the ultimate test. It's the best run defense Alabama has faced so far this season. It's the most physical team Alabama will play in the regular season, and perhaps at any point this season.
If Ford and Alabama can move Georgia at the line of scrimmage and open up some holes for the ground game, then there will be no doubt left about this team's physicality.
