19. Join The MDB For Pregame Warmups On The Quad

One of the best things to do before an Alabama home game is to watch the pregame warmups of the famous Million Dollar Band. Whether you like listening to the full-band practice “Yea, Alabama”, are fascinated by the hypnotizing rhythms of the drumline, or just like to see the Crimsonettes priss around in their itty bitty costumes (you can admit it, it’s okay), the Quad is the place to be two hours before kickoff.

The men and women of the Million Dollar Band meet up on the Quad before every game to warm up and sometimes to just have a good time. The drumline is a personal favorite; they practice their traditional rudiments and then work in cadences and funny chants to their crowd-pleasing routines.

Everyone in the MDB is always up for taking pictures with you (Helloooooo again, Crimsonettes), and will lead the crowds of onlookers in the Bammy Bound cheer, as well as other stadium favorites. This is a great way to kick off any Alabama game, especially if you’re bringing your children.
