SEC Media Days kicked off on Monday and Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn followed the Auburn ‘Coach Speak’ script.

ICYMI: SEC Football Preview—Texas A&M Aggies

It was the most predictable thing ever leading into the opening day of SEC Media Days in Hoover, Al. Auburn football head coach Gus Malzahn was first up and it was just what you expected.

There’s not a lot of happy feelings for a coach that finished 2-6 in the conference with an exhilarating win in the Birmingham Bowl win to carry the momentum into 2016.

Let’s check out some of his comments to get this thing started. We’re Alabama fans. It’s what we do.

You can understand Malzahn’s excitement here. It’s been quite a few seasons since Auburn football led anything in the Southeastern Conference.

That didn’t take long at all.

This is where we have a difference in opinion. I thought it was one of the funniest things to watch.

He’s going to win the Heisman this year again. Wait, that’s not right.

This is just an extra. I guess he has never seen SEC coaches arrive anywhere.

This could be true compared to who they had as a defensive coordinator last year. Clemson still may hang 60 points on them.

Here is the surprising news of the day. You want to win championships in the league. It motivates you to win more. Auburn isn’t a very motivated team.
