QB duo throw five TD passes

Alabama football leads the nation in scoring at 56.7 points per game. Ten different receivers have caught a pass this season with five catching touchdown passes. Jeudy leads the team with his six. The primary running back, Damien Harris is second on the team in rushing (178) behind sophomore Najee Harris (203). However, the offense begins and ends with two men.

Tua Tagovailoa’s fantastic quarterback play has not allowed him to play an entire game this season. His 72 percent completion rate and eight touchdowns in limited action. The sophomore has not played in the fourth quarter after giving the Tide insurmountable leads.

In the last two contests, the former starter, Jalen Hurts, enters the competition and the offense does not miss a beat. Passing for 178 yards and four touchdowns in the last two games, it is evident that the former SEC Offensive Player of the Year has drastically improved.

The Aggies pass defense ranks 95th in the country allowing 251 yards per contest. Clemson quarterbacks Kelly Bryant and Trevor Lawrence combined for 298 yards and two touchdowns.

The dynamic duo of Tagovailoa and Hurts that Nick Saban dreamed about gives teams fits to prepare for. Offensive coordinator Michael Locksley still has not utilized his entire playbook. Throwing in packages for Hurts make game planning that much more difficult.

Tua will fire off three touchdowns followed by Jalen’s two.
