Poor Tackling
On the field for 86 plays, the defense did not wrap up as you have come to expect from a Nick Saban coached team.
Penalties
Alabama racked up an uncharacteristic eleven penalties for 92 yards. Saban appeared alarmed at how undisciplined the Crimson Tide were on roughing the passer and offsides penalties.

Running Game
The offensive philosophy of this team is unlike 2009 Alabama. The team rushed 25 times for 76 yards. Although offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian developed a fantastic gameplan, the running game has remained an enigma. The two primary running backs, Najee Harris and Brian Robinson, finished with 69 yards on 15 carries.
Notwithstanding, these paltry numbers can ease Alabama past an unmatched foe such as South Carolina. The question remains can the offense move the ball against a formidable opponent in SEC Championship and College Football Playoff.
