Jerry Jeudy was one of Alabama football’s best receivers ever, and he is ready to  have an impact in the NFL. What does he bring to the Broncos?

For the past three seasons, Jerry Jeudy has been a superstar for Alabama football. He started as a second option behind Calvin Ridley with Jalen Hurts at quarterback, but he became the best receiver in the best receiver group in college football history.

Jeudy will now be playing in the AFC West on the Denver Broncos. He’ll go from catching passes from Tua Tagovailoa and Mac Jones to Drew Lock, Denver’s future at the position. So, what exactly does he bring to Denver?

Jeudy will be able to attack all levels of the defense. He has sneaky speed, but his best trait is his ability to separate with smooth routes. That’s something that will work in the NFL, so he is giving Drew Lock a reliable target who will get open.

I actually believe that the Broncos are trying to create an NFL version of Alabama’s offense. After drafting Jeudy, they picked up KJ Hamler to add a speed element. I believe their chemistry will be strong since Jeudy is used to having a speedster on the field across from him.

I believe that these two receivers are really going to help Drew Lock use his best strength. We all know that Lock was drafted because of his arm, and he’s not been able to completely show it off with just Courtland Sutton. Jeudy and Hamler are going to be assets in this offense, so we will get to truly evaluate if Drew Lock can succeed in the NFL. Lock will certainly be the team’s plan for the next few years, but this will prove whether or not he deserves the second contract.

Overall, I like the drafting of Jerry Jeudy for the Broncos. Playing in the AFC West, you’re going to have to put points on the board to keep up with the Chiefs. I don’t think Denver has a chance to win the division, but they will certainly improve on what they did last season.
