Alabama football’s top 30 NFL Draft prospects: 21-19

21. Henry Ruggs, Wide Receiver

Henry Ruggs was the first receiver drafted in 2020, but that was mostly due to a scheme fit. Most analysts would agree that Jerry Jeudy was a better pure prospect. However, Ruggs will still have an incredibly successful NFL career with the Las Vegas Raiders. His speed and strength at the catch point will make him a valuable asset. Alabama football fans just need to hope that Gruden can adequately use his talents.

20. Marlon Humphrey, Cornerback

Humphrey was such an underrated cornerback for Alabama football. If you ever doubt his talent, go watch his highlights. The team was hoping they could get another year out of Humphrey in college, but he ended up going to the NFL. This turned out to be a great decision, as he was drafted in the first round by the Ravens. He is still playing with the Ravens, and he is lined up to be one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL for the next few years.

19. Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver

Calvin Ridley’s draft stock was a little up in the air. He followed behind Julio Jones and Amari Cooper, putting a ton of pressure on his shoulders. However, he lived up to the hype and became a superstar for the Crimson Tide. In his final year, he was practically the only player that Jalen Hurts looked for. He is now an Atlanta Falcon, pairing up with another former Alabama receiver. He is still hoping to emerge as a WR1, but that is hard to do with Julio Jones on the field.
