Alabama football players can do more than what we see on Saturdays.
It can be hard to see a player’s talents off of the football field while they’re in college. Without them being able to brand themselves as athletes, we only get snippets from time to time on social media. However, don’t be fooled. Alabama football players have talents that don’t translate to the gridiron.
This discussion stems from Jalen Hurts’ recent karaoke video with the Philadelphia Eagles. I’m not going to lie. Jalen Hurts probably shouldn’t go on America’s Got Talent, but he can at least entertain on stage.
When it comes to a talented singer for the Crimson Tide, the first player that comes to mind is obviously Tua Tagovailoa. Many of his singing videos have gone viral. His singing abilities alone make him a sensation, but he can also play the ukulele. Tua definitely has a singing career if he chooses to pursue it.
Recent Alabama football fans should also remember when JK Scott went viral for solving a Rubik’s Cube at the College Football Playoff media days.

That’s more of a skill than a talent, but it’s still quite impressive.
The greatest talent from an Alabama football player.
Only Alabama football loyalists will remember Rob Ezell’s iconic impersonation of Nick Saban himself. This has to be the greatest talent ever portrayed by a Crimson Tide player.

If you’re like me, you’ve likely scoured the internet looking for more clips of his impersonation, but this is the only video of it that exists. If Ezell still has his impersonation in his bag of tricks, he could travel around the state and perform for Crimson Tide fans.
Every Alabama football player has talent on the field. That’s how they get recruited, and that’s what the Tide program build while they’re in college. However, athletes are always more than what you see on a highlight reel. These hidden talents show a peak behind the curtain of some of Alabama’s former players.
