How will Alabama football do vs. their own division?

Arkansas Razorbacks: 0-10
I have put on the record that I believe the Razorbacks will go winless already. Arkansas has consistently been the worst team in the SEC, and I expect more of the same here. They shouldn’t win any of their SEC West games, and they did not get a lucky draw from the SEC East. Their best chance for a win is against Missouri.

Auburn Tigers: 7-3
Auburn’s defense will be significantly weaker, and they will have to play three of the four best teams in the SEC this year. If they can win one of their matchups against LSU, Georgia, and Alabama football, then they are on the right path. However, they have a couple of trap games along the way as well.

LSU Tigers: 8-2
I might be overly optimistic about the Tigers due to their success last year. They lost almost every key contributor to their national championship team. However, they have a kind schedule that gives them different paths to success. If they beat either Auburn, Florida, or Alabama football, their odds of going 8-2 are very high.

Mississippi State Bulldogs: 5-5

The Bulldogs need to get some things figured out on offense, but Mike Leach has good weapons to work with. He will have to recruit his own type of players, but Kylin Hill is one of the two best running backs in the SEC right now. That’s one heck of a building block.

Ole Miss Rebels: 2-8

This would be disappointing for Lane Kiffin in his first year as Ole Miss’s head coach, but he still has a bright future in the SEC. If we’re being honest, Kiffin’s only goal is to beat Nick Saban and Alabama football.

Texas A&M Aggies: 5-5

This was supposed to be the year where the stars aligned in College Station, but they still have a difficult schedule. They can avoid playing Clemson, but they still have to face off against three superior teams in their own division.

Alabama Crimson Tide: 10-0

Alabama football certainly doesn’t have the easiest path to an undefeated season, but the Crimson Tide are locked in on 2020. No starters have opted out, health is good, the offense is as strong as it can be. Alabama will certainly miss Tua, but Mac Jones is ready to be the face of the Crimson Tide.

Predictions are scheduled to change as soon as any information on the 2020 college football season rolls in, but this is where we stand now.
