2021 NFL Mock Draft 3.0

22. Tennessee Titans: Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia

The run on pass rushers has officially begun. With no depth in this class, the Titans can’t wait if they want to add a starting-quality pass rusher in 2020.

The Titans need to add depth at a few key positions. They need a receiver to pair with Brown. After Isaiah Wilson didn’t pan out, they could definitely use another offensive lineman. However, those groups in 2021 have depth that the edge class simply doesn’t. I would rather have a first-round pass rusher and address the other needs on Day 2 than the other way around.

Because of that, I have the Titans taking Azeez Ojulari, one of the last great edge rushers in this class. He was well-coached at Georgia, and he showed his leadership.

The AFC South is up in the air. Houston is a dumpster fire, the Jaguars are in the middle of a rebuild and the Colts have to prove that Carson Wentz can turn things around. The Titans are the frontrunners, and adding Ojulari would help.

Some Titans execs might be against drafting a Georgia player after seeing what happened with Isaiah Wilson, but that’s not fair to Ojulari. You can’t draft the helmet. You have to draft the player. This isn’t the best value, but it can the the first piece to a solid overall draft class.
