Alabama Football vs. Miami Bold Prediction No. 2

Keeping attention on special teams play, the Crimson Tide will have at least two dynamic, explosive returners this season. The primary kick returner is expected to be Ohio State transfer, Jameson Williams. The primary punt returner is expected to be freshman, JoJo Earle

The second bold prediction is either Williams or Earle will have a return touchdown against the Canes. A gameday decision might have Slade Bolden handling most punts. Also, Jase McClellan or Trey Sanders might return some kickoffs. Even with those unknowns, this prediction could happen.

Crimson Tide vs the Canes Bold Prediction No. 3

The Alabama Football running game will rush for at least 225 yards on the Hurricanes. If Bill O’Brien so chooses, it could be even more. There are several reasons why. The first is the Crimson Tide offensive line is still a work in progress. With players missing portions of fall camp, the new Tide O-line will need more time to build cohesion. Early in the season, especially in game one, the most consistent strength of the unit will be run-blocking.

Also, the Canes are lightweights at linebacker. Only one of the three Miami starters weighs more than 212 pounds. The Canes hybrid linebacker called a ‘Striker,’ Amari Carter only weighs 202 pounds. Manny Diaz can rotate in bigger guys if he can guess when, but the backups are also small.

The Canes defense must contend with a wave of Tide running backs. At least four Tide backs will see action and they will always be fresh.
