Alabama Football vs. Southern Miss Bold Prediction No. 1

Chris Owens will start again at right tackle. Well before mop-up duty allows a second-team offensive line, either Damieon George Jr. or J.C. Latham will work at right tackle with the first unit. Though not part of this prediction, Latham might also get some first-unit snaps at right guard.

Crimson Tide vs. USM Bold Prediction No. 2

Southern Miss has an almost FBS best average for opponent rushing yards. The Golden Eagles are No. 2 at 1.41 yards-per-carry. That stat will plummet, as they fail to hold the Crimson Tide under a four-yard average.

Tide vs. Golden Eagles Bold Prediction No. 3

Southern Miss is averaging 284.7 yards per game. They will not reach 200 yards of net offense against the Crimson Tide. And it could be much less, with an Alabama Football defense focused on a statement effort.

Bold Prediction No. 4

Either Jase McClellan or Trey Sanders will get the most carries for the Crimson Tide on Saturday. Brian Robinson Jr. is dealing with bruised ribs and while he might play, he will likely not see much action.
