Another week and another time for Alabama Football BOLD Predictions.

For the second straight game, the results were four correct and three wrong. That takes the Bold Prediction record after six games to 22 correct and 19 wrong.

The challenge goes on – to find the right amount of boldness, balanced against a respectable record of correct predictions. There are no rules for Bold Predictions, but 50-50 correct and wrong would suggest an equal value of boldness and accuracy.

The entire Texas A&M Bold Predictions post is available here.

  • Wrong – Alabama Football Texas A&M Bold Prediction No. 1 – Crimson Tide offense scored three touchdowns, not four touchdowns as predicted.
  • Correct – Texas A&M Bold Prediction No. 2 – The Crimson Tide did set a new FBS record of 32 consecutive games scoring 30 or more points. UCF held the record at 31.
  • Correct – Texas A&M Bold Prediction No. 3 – Despite a packed Kyle Field and a roaring Aggies’ crowd, the Crimson Tide committed only two false start penalties.
  • Correct – Texas A&M Bold Prediction No. 4 – Aggies’ running back, Isaiah Spiller went into the game averaging 6.9 yards-per-carry. His new average is 5.91 yards, after being held to a 2.7 yard average by the Tide defense. The prediction was not near bold enough, stating his output Saturday night would be 5.5 yards or less.
  • Wrong (mostly) – Bold Prediction No. 5 – As predicted Zach Calzada did have his best game of the season – but the prediction he would pass for 200 yards or less was incorrect. He threw for 285 yards.
  • Correct – Bold Prediction No. 6 – Calzada, as predicted threw an interception against the Crimson Tide.
  • Wrong – Bold Prediction No. 7 was actually two predictions from the same result. The Bama streak over the Aggies was predicted to go to 9-0 and Saban’s streak over former assistants was predicted to go to 25-0.
