Alabama Offense

Leading the Crimson Tide offense is Heisman Trophy candidate quarterback Bryce Young who has thrown for 3,901 yards and 40 touchdowns on the year. Trey Sanders will likely anchor the ground game with Brian Robinson Jr potentially unavailable, while wide receiver Christian Leary and linebacker Demouy Kennedy could also see time at running back. Wideouts Jameson Williams and John Metchie III will headline the receiving game, while others such as Ja’Corey Brooks, Cameron Latu, Slade Bolden, and Jahleel Billingsley will all see time as well.

Alabama Defense

Headlining the Alabama defense is another Heisman Trophy candidate in edge rusher Will Anderson Jr who has totaled 14.5 sacks on the season, tops in the country. In addition to Anderson, the Crimson Tide pass rush features many names such as Phidarian Mathis, Dallas Turner, Byron Young, Tim Smith, and more, while leading tackler Henry To’o To’o and Christian Harris feature at linebacker. Cornerback features the trio of Josh Jobe, Jalyn Armour-Davis, and Kool-Aid McKinstry, while the secondary also features safeties Jordan Battle and DeMarcco Hellams, with Brian Branch and Malachi Moore at STAR.

Alabama Special Teams

Will Reichard kicks for the Crimson Tide where he has made 14-of-18 field goals on the year. Freshman James Burnip punts for the Crimson Tide where he averages 38.5 yards per punt, with 12 downed inside the 20-yard line.

Georgia Offense

Leading the Georgia offense is quarterback Stetson Bennett who has completed 65% of his passes with 21 touchdowns on the year, but backup and previous starter JT Daniels could also see time. The Bulldogs use multiple running backs in the run and pass game such as Zamir White, James Cook, and Kenny McIntosh, while Kendall Milton could also return from injury on Saturday. Leading the Georgia receiving game is star freshman tight end Brock Bowers who has caught 10 touchdowns on the year, while others such as Ladd McConkey, Jermaine Burton, Adonai Mitchell, and Kearis Jackson will also see time, as well as the recently returned George Pickens.

Georgia Defense

The top defense in the country, the Bulldogs strength on the defensive side of the ball is the front-seven led by tackle Jordan Davis and linebacker Nakobe Dean who leads the team with five sacks. In addition to those two, Devonte Wyatt and Jalen Carter play alongside Davis in the middle with Nolan Smith, Travon Walker, and Robert Beal Jr featuring on the edge, while leading tackler Channing Tindall and Quay Walker feature alongside Dean at linebacker. In the secondary, Kelee Ringo and Clemson transfer Derion Kendrick start at corner, while Lewis Cine, Latavious Brini, Dan Jackson, and Christopher Smith will all see time at safety.

Georgia Special Teams

The Bulldogs kicker is junior Jack Podlesny who has made 17-of-21 field goals on the year, with all four misses coming from 30+ yards out. Punting for Georgia is senior Jake Camarda who averages 46.5 yards per punt, and has downed 12 inside the 20-yard line.
