Alabama Football: Crimson Tide lands 22nd ranked player in 2025 class
After winning Saturday’s matchup against the Kentucky Wildcats the Alabama Football program got continued good news with the commitment of Zion Grady. Zion Grady is the second-ranked edge rusher in the 2025 recruiting class and the 22nd player overall. The commitment of Grady marks the eighth commitment for an already loaded 2025 class for the Crimson Tide. Alabama Football’s 2025 recruiting class ranks as the top class in the country early on in the recruiting process. The Alabama Football team may land another five-star in the 2025 class as 5-Star cornerback Devin Sanchez named Alabama as a finalist planning to commit at the Army All-American Bowl.
Next weekend’s game against Chattanooga is a vital recruiting weekend as it marks the final home game of the season for the Crimson Tide. The 2024 recruiting class currently ranks fifth in the country with a few players left uncommitted as we approach the early signing period in December.
The area the Crimson Tide will likely attack heavily is the transfer portal following this season’s conclusion. The Alabama Football team will likely return plenty of talent heading into the 2024 season and will probably add experienced contributors at running back, wide receiver, and a few other positions of need.
Alabama Football: Entering a heavy recruiting period in good standing
It’s hard to focus on recruiting as the Alabama Football team is currently in the top ten with a trip booked to face Georgia in the SEC Championship game. However, with early signing day around a month away, there will be a heavy focus on recruiting. The 2024 recruiting class is ranked fifth in the 247 class rankings as we head into the home stretch of the recruiting season. An interesting aspect to look at is the Texas A&M recruiting class. The firing of Jimbo Fisher could lead to some of the commits A&M has landed looking elsewhere while A&M searches for a coach. Terry Bussey a Five Star athlete is the name to watch as Alabama was among his finalists before he chose to commit to the Aggies.
