No. 6 Alabama is back home this week for one of the biggest games of the 2026 regular season in college football. No. 2 Georgia will arrive this weekend in Tuscaloosa looking for its first regular-season win over Alabama since 2007.

With the threat of severe weather on the forecast from a potential Gulf hurricane, there's a lot still in flux for Saturday night. But until we know otherwise, we're proceeding as if the game will go on as scheduled.

That means it's time for our weekly bold predictions, and we're heating up, folks. We came agonizingly close to a 4-for-4 week last week against Mississippi State. We correctly predicted Alabama to rush for 175+ yards (they got 181), Xavier Griffin to get his first career sack, and for Dijon Lee to record his first interception of the season (and he scored, to boot). The only miss was Ryan Coleman-Williams scoring two touchdowns. He only recorded one. Slacker.

This week against Georgia, let's go 4-for-4, shall we?

1. EJ Crowell leads Alabama in rushing

There has been a lot of talk since Saturday's 56-23 win over Mississippi State about EJ Crowell's lack of touches. He only got three carries against the Bulldogs, but still produced 49 yards and one eye-popping run.

Ryan Grubb addressed it in his Monday press conference, stating that Crowell is still learning the offense. That's not a big surprise considering how many on-field reps he missed with injury during both the spring and fall camps.

But he's a special talent. And against an elite defensive front like Georgia's, if the Crimson Tide wants to run the ball effectively and maintain a balance offensively, they'll need Crowell's ability to get yards after contact.

He leads Alabama in both broken tackles and yards after contact despite being third in carries in the RB room behind Daniel Hill and Trae'shawn Brown.

This feels like the week Crowell gets fully unleashed, and I think he has a strong game and ultimately leads the Tide in rushing.

2. Keelon Russell eclipses 300 yards and three more touchdowns

Georgia fans are fooling themselves if they truly believe this Alabama team is Keelon Russell and not much else. The supporting cast is real. The offense has an embarrassment of riches with weapons all over the place.

And Russell is just getting better and better every week. After some first-half struggles against Kentucky, Russell has been elite ever since. He lit up Florida State, South Carolina, and Mississippi State in the last three weeks. Georgia will represent his biggest challenge to date.

But as good as the Bulldogs' defense is, Russell and the Alabama offense will be the best they've seen this year by far. Georgia has not manufactured much of a pass rush without blitzing, which could open things up for Russell to make some plays down the field.

I think he has another big game, producing over 300 yards of total offense and three touchdowns, while further strengthening his Heisman Trophy case.

3. Marshall Pritchett scores his first career touchdown

Alabama's TE room has been one of the most pleasant surprises for the team this year. Not just as blockers - which has generated the majority of the press - but as receivers as well. With Ryan Coleman-Williams and Lotzeir Brooks being such threats down the field, the middle of the field has been open for Marshall Pritchett and Kaleb Edwards to make plays.

Pritchett has produced a 30+ yard play two weeks in a row. Last week against Mississippi State, Alabama set up a double pass with the sophomore having the opportunity to throw the ball. It wasn't there, so he wisely tucked and ran for a first down instead. But it's clear that Kalen DeBoer and Ryan Grubb view Pritchett as a weapon, and he has their trust.

It's only a matter of time before he gets into the endzone, and this is as good a week as any.

4. Yhonzae Pierre produces multiple sacks

If you look at just the numbers, it has been a disappointing first five games for Yhonzae Pierre. He's only produced 1.5 sacks so far, but that doesn't tell the whole story. Pierre has gotten plenty of pressures, and he draws so much attention that it has opened things up for others to make plays around him.

His time is coming. This would be a great week for it to happen. Gunner Stockton is more than capable of getting out of the pocket and making things happen with his legs, but he's not quite the athlete that LaNorris Sellers was.

I think Pierre gets home twice this week, producing a couple of big negative plays for the Tide's defense.
