5-star WR Cederian Morgan committed to Alabama back in July. Despite some flirtations with Coach Prime and Colorado, the Alexander City native is all Alabama.
He announced on Sunday that his recruitment was officially shut down, rebuffing overtures from Colorado and many other programs who hopped to sway him before the early signing period in December. If that announcement wasn't enough, he stamped his commitment to the Crimson Tide in ink:

Now, Alabama fans are intimately aware that a tattoo is not the be-all, end-all in the recruiting process. Those old enough will remember the wild recruitment of Reuben Foster as an example. Foster originally committed to Alabama as a junior, flipped his commitment to Auburn - and got the Auburn logo tattooed on him - before flipping back and signing with the Crimson Tide.
Cederian Morgan's tattoo is further proof he's locked in with Alabama
Don't expect a reversal of fortune with Morgan, though. The 5-star WR revealing the tattoo so quickly after announcing his recruitment was shut down is just further indication that he is locked in with Alabama.
Morgan was a big part of DeBoer's push for a stronger showing in the state of Alabama in the 2026 cycle. Alabama holds commitments from three of the top four in-state recruits in the 247 composite, with Morgan joining RB Ezavier Crowell and CB Zyan Gibson. Alabama just missed out on going 4-for-4 with 5-star EDGE Anthony 'Tank' Jones choosing Oregon over the Crimson Tide.
Morgan will give JaMarcus Shephard another talented young WR to work with. Alabama's WR room, even with some expected departures after this season, will remain one of the best in the nation moving forward. It's easy to see why.
Alabama's offense is very WR-friendly, and Kalen DeBoer, Ryan Grubb, and Shephard have a proven track record of developing wideouts.
Morgan should join a WR room next year that features Ryan Williams, Rico Scott, and Lotzeir Brooks, among others. It remains to be seen whether Miami (FL) transfer Isaiah Horton will return for his senior season or test the NFL Draft waters.
In any case, the future is bright for the WR room in Tuscaloosa. Morgan will have his work cut out for him to find early playing time, but he'll have a chance to earn it no matter how crowded the room is. Brooks is a perfect example of that.
