The Alabama Crimson Tide simply couldn't find the necessary answers against the Oklahoma Sooners, and it led to their second loss of the season.

As halftime approached, it looked like the Tide could still pull off a win, trailing by just three points as they took over possession of the ball with over three minutes remaining in the second quarter.

After a 69-yard drive, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer had to send out kicker Conor Talty to attempt a 36-yard field goal. After a bad snap and a low kick, the ball was blocked, and the field goal was no good. As the two teams headed into their locker rooms, Oklahoma held a 17-14 lead.

Conor Talty undeniably upset about miss

Following his miss, Talty ripped into his long snapper, David Bird, for snapping the ball much higher than usual, causing the place holder (punter Blake Doud) to struggle aligning it properly and quickly enough.

As Talty yelled at Bird, the ABC cameras panned over to him, catching the kicker (Crimson) red-handed.

Now, it's pretty common for people to blame kickers for a loss when they miss a field goal at any point in the game, but it isn't too often that you see the kicker himself blaming one of his teammates on national television.

The Tide ended up losing by two points as the Sooners flew home with a 23-21 victory, so yes, the field goal was a game-changing play. However, for your kicker to get caught ripping into one of his teammates for everyone to see is far from ideal.

With the loss, not all hope is lost for Alabama to make it to Atlanta for the SEC Championship game or the College Football Playoffs, especially since the Crimson Tide has the head-to-head win over the Georgia Bulldogs. However, they have to win out and hope that everyone else stays in line.

Up next, Alabama faces Eastern Illinois on Saturday, Nov. 22, before taking a road trip to Auburn for the annual Iron Bowl game on Saturday, Nov. 29.
