Alabama is the top team, it seems, yet again in the college football world, at least that is how it looks after watching ESPN College GameDay. The crew did their 15-second answer segment, where they get a random question and must answer in 15 seconds and being in Tuscaloosa has certainly put them back on the Crimson Tide bandwagon.
Desmond Howard was asked who the best team in the country is, and last week, he went against the home crowd and said it was the Oregon Ducks. He seemed to have now changed his tune and is riding with the Crimson Tide. It is obvious he is never going to say Ohio State is a Michigan man, but it does come as a bit of a surprise, especially with his answer last week.
Pat McAfee always seems to go with the home crowd, but when asked about who the best SEC quarterback is, taking John Mateer out of it right now with his injury, he goes with none other than Ty Simpson. Simpson certainly has had a solid season so far, minus that game at Florida State in Week 1. Right now, Simpson has thrown for 1,138 yards and 11 touchdowns with no interceptions.
Simpson isn't in the Heisman talk right now, but looking at his stats, he really should be.

McAfee also made a bold claim that the Crimson Tide is going to be SEC Champions yet again, taking down Texas A&M in the title game.
Lastly, and this one comes as no surprise, Nick Saban will always roll with the Tide. When asked about who has the best road win this season, Saban considered going with the Ducks like Howard did last week, but his love for the Tide won out. Of course, Saban had to go with Alabama's big win over Georgia, which snapped their longest home game win streak in the country.
A lot of this is looking like the crew is hopping on the Alabama bandwagon again, and why shouldn't they? Alabama is firing on all cylinders right now and is looking better after that win over Georgia.
