Summer is here, and with it comes the peak of recruiting season. The top prospects in the country are gearing up for a wave of official visits. A good chunk of them will be descending upon Tuscaloosa over the next month.

Momentum is building for the Crimson Tide to once again land a Top 5 class in 2026. While Kalen DeBoer and company only have five players committed right now, they continue to land predictions to reel in some of the top prospects in the country. Those predictions - and ultimately commitments - will continue to roll in as visit season begins this weekend.

Alabama recently received predictions to land 5-star LB Xavier Griffin and 5-star RB Ezavier Crowell.

You can add another 5-star to that list.

One day after predicting the Crimson Tide to land Crowell, Rivals recruiting director Adam Gorney made another prediction for Alabama to land 5-star WR Cederian Morgan:

The 247 composite rankings have Morgan as the No. 2 WR in the country and the No. 11 overall player. Morgan has an official visit scheduled at Alabama for the weekend of June 20th. Prior to that, he will visit Georgia, Florida, and Auburn. He recently took an official visit to Colorado.

WR coach JaMarcus Shephard has put Alabama in prime position for a few of the highest rated WRs in the 2026 class. The weekend ahead will see Alabama host Boobie Feaster and LSU commit Kenny Darby.

Alabama's 2026 class will have a lot of in-state flavor

The only negative that could be said about DeBoer's first full recruiting class at Alabama was that it only featured two in-state players. The new staff did a tremendous job with the players they landed around the country, but you ideally want a little more from your home state.

DeBoer and Tide GM Courtney Morgan appear to have gotten the message.

Alabama has the RPM lead for the top three players in the state for this cycle. Joining Morgan and Crowell is Mobile DE Anthony "Tank" Jones. Alabama will host all three for official visits on the same weekend.

Alabama already has a commitment from Zyan Gibson, the No. 4 player in the state according to the 247 composite rankings.

Signing the top four players in the state of Alabama for this cycle, along with the usual national recruiting done by the Crimson Tide, would be a major statement made by DeBoer and his staff.
