Alabama walked away not only with a win against Oklahoma and a ticket to the Rose Bowl against Indiana on New Year's, but also with minimal injuries. While the Tide did lose two key defensive players during the game against Oklahoma, fans can rest a little easier knowing that the injuries shouldn't linger.
Both defensive lineman Tim Keenan III and defensive back Red Morgan went down against Oklahoma and never returned to the game, but an update later on ESPN gave Alabama fans a huge sigh of relief. On SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt after the game, reporter Holly Rowe updated everyone on how Keenan and Morgan were doing.
"Holly Rowe reported it, two Tide players, key defenders who left the game, Tim Keenan and Red Morgan, do not appear to have serious injuries,” Chris Fowler said on SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt. “Could have returned tonight. So their presence for the Rose Bowl certainly is reassuring for Alabama fans."
So, it seems both Keenan and Morgan should be good to go against Indiana in about 13 days when they meet the Hoosiers in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day.
Red Morgan's post game celebration confirms he will be good to go vs. Indiana
Neither Keenan nor Morgan returned to the game against Oklahoma last night, but Rowe's report said that they could have if they were needed. It makes sense with the lead and Oklahoma really not being able to do much on offense to not risk a further injury for either player.
However, after the game, Alabama's celebration, which included Morgan jumping up and down, should confirm he will be ready to go against the Hoosiers.

Morgan can be seen with a rose in his hand, jumping up and down towards the end of the video, celebrating the big win for the Tide. As Alabama heads to take on a very good Indiana offense, knowing they should have Keenan and Morgan back on defense is a huge relief.
