Are the Alabama Crimson Tide getting healthy at the right time with the College Football Playoff here? That would appear to be the case, as Jam Miller wasn't on the initial injury report to open up the week. Stud tight end Josh Cuevas was listed as questionable, but no need to worry Bama fans - he's going to be ready.

This wild Alabama football stat will prove to be trouble for Oklahoma in the CFP

On Wednesday, Kalen DeBoer spoke with the media and he confirmed that No. 80 is going to be ready to rock on Friday night in Norman. This is obviously huge for quarterback Ty Simpson, but it's going to be a welcome return for the Bama offense as a whole:

Josh Cuevas will be good to go for the Alabama showdown vs. Oklahoma

Cuevas went down with a foot injury during practices earlier this campaign. That injury arrived before Alabama's non-conference matchup at home with Eastern Illinois, a game the Tide went on to win 56-0. Cuevas hasn't been on the field since.

There was worry that he'd miss the start of the College Football Playoff, but thankfully the extra week of rest after the end of the regular season has given him enough time to get closer to 100 percent. On top of that, fellow tight end Danny Lewis will also be suited up.

On the year, the 6-3, 255-pound Cuevas has recorded 30 receptions for 341 yards and four touchdowns. He's got sure hands for Simpson and he's without question a big-bodied target. Not having him available would have been a nightmare for the Tide, but thankfully that situation has been avoided.

After losing to Oklahoma earlier this season in Tuscaloosa, Bama is out for revenge. With key injured guys getting healthy, it's only going to help DeBoer and Co. in their push to end the Sooners' season and get some revenge in the process. In order for that to happen, Simpson will need to turn things around, but getting Cuevas back will surely help him out in a noticeable way.
