The 2025 preseason high school All-American list has officially been released, and clearly, head coach Kalen DeBoer knows what he's doing on the recruiting trail as multiple future Alabama stars headline the honor roll.
The Crimson Tide currently has the No. 7 class of 2026 recruits, including 21 blue-chip prospects who have committed to play for DeBoer and his staff. Two of those 21 commits earned a place on Rivals and On3's All-American list:
- Ezavier Crowell, four-star running back, Jackson, AL
- Xavier Griffin, five-star linebacker, Gainesville, FL
Ezavier Crowell, running back
While Crowell is listed as a four-star prospect, he is one of the highlights of Alabama's upcoming recruiting classes.
As a junior, he led his team to a state championship title behind nearly 2,000 rushing yards and 31 touchdowns on just 168 carries. He also earned 258 yards and two more touchdowns through the air. Over two seasons of varsity football, he has already amassed a resounding 4,356 total yards and 63 total touchdowns.
Xavier Griffin, linebacker
Griffin is one of four five-star prospects who have committed to Alabama from the upcoming class and is the second-highest rated prospect, only trailing five-star safety Jireh Edwards.
While he was sidelined due to injury during a large majority of his junior season, Griffin is expected to return at full force this year. During the eight games he played last year, he earned 43 total tackles and six sacks for his high school squad.
Simply put, Alabama fans should continue to get excited about the future of the program as DeBoer continues to collect more and more talented players, ensuring the ongoing success of the Crimson Tide.
Beyond the class of 2026, DeBoer recruited the No. 3 overall class of 2025, only trailing the Texas Longhorns and the Georgia Bulldogs. As of now, zero prospects from the class of 2027 have yet to commit to the Tide, but undeniably, Alabama will bring in another top-10 group of recruits.
