The NFL Draft is less than two weeks away, and Alabama QB Jalen Milroe has seen his stock steadily on the rise. On Sunday, news broke that Milroe had accepted the NFL's invite to attend the draft in person in Green Bay, signaling that his stock was much higher than what most experts figured.
The NFL has cut down their list of invites this year to just 8-10 players in hopes of avoiding the yearly awkward green room moments of players having longer than expected wait times. The league appears confident that Milroe is going to hear his name called on day one.
In an appearance on Good Morning Football on Friday morning, it's obvious to see why Milroe is trending upward. The host of the show, Kyle Brandt, certainly took note:

I’ve come away most impressed with QB Jalen Milroe.
Very sharp. Eager to learn. Kind. Fun.

Bleacher Report recently noted that Milroe had impressive private workouts/meetings with both the Saints and Browns.
Milroe was inconsistent last season at Alabama, but his talent is undeniable. He has the arm strength to make every throw, and he's among the best athletes in this draft class. His running ability has somehow been viewed in a negative light, as is often the case with QBs who are perceived as "run first" guys.
"If you don't like running quarterbacks, don't watch Jalen Milroe on Sundays," said Milroe on Good Morning Football.
Milroe talked about doing whatever it takes to move the chains. If he can do it with his arm, fine. If it needs to be his legs, so be it. He's there to do whatever it takes to win football games.

Where might Jalen Milroe end up in the NFL Draft?
Milroe is going to end up getting drafted higher than most think. Those who have him in the top-half of the second round are underselling him. I would be surprised at this point if he isn't a first-round pick. I doubt he ends up in the Top 10, but I could see him getting picked as high as the teens.
Realistically, late in the first round there's a good chance you will see a team trade back into the first round to potentially take him if he gets past the Steelers at No. 21.
Miami's Cam Ward is the heavy favorite to be picked No. 1 overall by the Tennessee Titans. Colorado's Shedeur Sanders will be the 2nd QB off the board, but there are a lot of QB-needy teams in the Top 10 and only two quarterbacks who are likely to get picked that high.
Teams like the Browns, Giants, Raiders, and Jets, to name a few, have early 2nd round picks they could use to trade back into the first round if they don't land Sanders. There's also the Rams at pick No. 26 who could be in the market for a young QB as Matthew Stafford approaches the end of his career.
Milroe is trending in the right direction ahead of the NFL Draft, regardless, and will likely hearh is name called on the first day of the draft. If so, he'll become the fourth straight starting QB from Alabama to be picked in the first round. And the fifth guy in that line was a second round pick who just won Super Bowl MVP.
It's been quite the QB run for the Crimson Tide.
