Alabama Crimson Tide moves up in AP and Coaches Polls

Tuesday's latest AP Poll and Coaches Poll moved the Alabama Crimson Tide up one spot to No. 3. Georgia got 57 1st place votes, with Ohio State getting five in the AP Poll. In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs got 51 1st place votes; Ohio State got three and Texas got one. No other teams received first-place votes in either poll.
The USC Trojans got the biggest bump up in each poll. USC moved up 10 spots in the AP Poll to No. 13 and moved up nine spots in the Coaches Poll to No. 14. The other big movers in the opposite direction were Clemson and LSU. Clemson dropped 11 spots in the AP Poll to No. 25 and dropped eight spots in the Coaches Poll to No. 22. The Bengal Tigers dropped five spots in the AP Poll to No. 18 and seven spots in the Coaches Poll to No. 19.
