Over the last week, there has been growing concern that Alabama Football could lose new offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb before the two even get properly acquainted.

It was announced on January 14th that Grubb was “expected” to accompany Coach Kalen DeBoer across the country to join the Bama coaching staff. Less than three weeks later, he has become the subject of rumors linking him to the vacant offensive coordinator opening with the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL.

Grubb is familiar with the Seattle area due to his time as OC for the Washington Huskies, so him being targeted for the position is hardly surprising.

If he were to depart, where would DeBoer and Alabama turn on the offensive side of the ball?

Sure, they would be in a pinch given the timing of this news, but the attractiveness of the position could make the Tide privy to more options than many expect.
