The Alabama Football team continued another strong weekend of recruiting as Kalen DeBoer and his staff got another talented group of players on campus. The Tide landed another commitment in punter Alex Asparuhov to start the weekend while the Tide continued to make strong impressions on several recruits. The Tide leave the weekend with another commitment from defensive tackle London Simmons.

The Mississippi native is a three-star recruit ranked as the 60th ranked defensive tackle in the class and the 15th best player from Mississippi.

While the rankings may be low on London Simmons it's easy to see why Kalen DeBoer and his staff are so high on Simmons. The Tide now have two commitments at defensive tackle as Simmons joins Antonio Coleman.

The Tide emerged late for Simmons as he camped with the team for offensive and defensive line camp last weekend and quickly returned for an official visit this weekend. Over the past few weekends, the interest clearly picked up with Simmons and the Tide and now the Tide continue their streak of impressive recruiting weekends.

The Tide are clearly doing something right

This summer no program has been as impressive on the recruiting trail as the Alabama Football team has been. The Tide have now landed six commitments this summer with three top-100 commitments as they now hold the Nation's sixth ranked recruiting class.

The Tide have been landing commitments at an unbelievable pace this summer as no school has come close to matching what Kalen DeBoer has done this summer. The Tide hired Kalen DeBoer and the biggest concern was how he would recruit but, now the Tide are looking like strong contenders to finish with one of the Nation's three best recruiting classes.
