Alabama Football releases first availability report of Vanderbilt week: Will Kendrick Law play?
Per the SEC's new mandated policy, Alabama Football released its first availability report for Vanderbilt week on Wednesday night.
There are only two players listed on the report, WR Kendrick Law and LB Justin Jefferson, both of whom suffered minor injuries during the Georgia game.
Head coach Kalen DeBoer called Law day-to-day earlier on Wednesday during the weekly SEC teleconference, and that status holds true as he is officially listed as "questionable."
Jefferson is listed as probable on the report.
It's good news for Alabama fans to see that DeVonta Smith and Red Morgan, both of whom suffered injuries during the game last week, are not listed on the report. Neither are the three players who were listed on the report last week.
LB's Qua Russaw and Jeremiah Alexander, and RB Richard Young were on last week's report as "probable", though all three were downgraded to "questionable" on the final report before Saturday's kickoff. That should mean that all three are healthy and ready to go in Nashville.
Vanderbilt's availability report was also released, and it's far more extensive than Alabama's:
DL Zaylin Wood - Out
CB Mark Davis - Out
OL Grayson Morgan - Out
EDGE Boubacar Diakite - Questionable
WR Joseph McVay - Questionable
WR Loic Fouonji - Probable
S Dontae Carter - Probable
DL Khordae Sydnor - Probable
All SEC schools in weeks where they are playing a conference opponent are required to submit official availability reports on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a final report required no later than 90-minutes before kickoff of the game.
