When Alabama Football takes the field tomorrow against Wisconsin, star left tackle Kadyn Proctor is expected to be out there, according to multiple reports. Matt Zenitz with 247/CBS Sports was first to report, but others have come out and stated sources are telling them the same thing.

Proctor's return will be welcome news for an Alabama offensive line that struggled for three-and-a-half quarters last week before the damn broke and the Tide pulled away for a 42-16 win over USF that was much closer than the final score indicated.

Head coach Kalen DeBoer provided a positive injury update on Proctor on Wednesday, stating the tackle had turned a corner and was practicing.

"He's doing well, doing a good job. Really was headed in a really good direction right at the very end of last week. Turned the corner, I think, there. Is in a good spot here. Done a nice job here in the first two days of practice."

Some doubt had crept in on Friday about Proctor's availabiliy against Wisconsin, but all signs now point toward Proctor making his return and starting at left tackle in Camp Randall.

The 2023 freshman All-American will give the Crimson Tide a big boost on the offensive line, allowing Tyler Booker to slip back to left guard, giving Alabama a big advantage on the interior against a Wisconsin defensive line that is probaby the weak point of the Badgers' defense.

Next. Tua retire?. It's bigger than football, and it's time for Tua Tagovailoa to retire. dark
