Similar to wide receiver the Edge Rush position could see any combination of players play a significant role and no one would be surprised. The group however returns way less experience than the Wide Receiver room. The position brings back no one with real experience however, the group is certainly loaded with talent. Returnees Qua Russaw, Keon Keeley, Keanu Koht, Yhonzae Pierre, and Jeremiah Alexander were all among the top recruits in their class and with their time in the program will likely all play a role in 2024.
Incoming are three true freshmen Jayshawn Ross, Sterling Dixon, and Noah Carter all three players are four-star recruits. Of the group, Carter is the highest rated while Dixon's size could translate well in Kane Wommack's defense.
We'll truly have no idea who the Edge Rushers will be until late in camp with the unknowns around the group. The starters however will likely be returnees and the group will probably be more rotational than we saw under Nick Saban.
