Who are the announcers for Alabama Football game vs. Georgia?
Fresh off of a bye week, Alabama Football is back home in the friendly confines of Tuscaloosa and welcoming in the No. 2 ranked Georgia Bulldogs to Saban Field.
Two wees ago, Alabama played on FOX's Big Noon Kickoff and blasted the Wisconsin Badgers 42-10. Georgia struggled through a 13-12 win over Kentucky before also taking a bye to get ready for the latest "Game of the Century" against Alabama.
When the Tide and the Bulldogs meet on Saturday night, it will be in front of a national audience as always, but on a new network in the primetime slot on ABC.
ESPN's top broadcast duo, Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will be on the call. This will be the first game of the season for either team with Fowler and Herbstreit calling the game. This will be the third time Georgia has been featured on ABC. They played Clemson in Week 1 and Kentucky in Week 3 on ABC.
But both of those games saw Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy on the call.
Fowler and Herbstreit have been on the call for the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs twice in the past. While the majority of the Alabama-Georgia matchups have been broadcast by CBS over the years, the two played in the National Championship Game in 2018 and 2022 that was broadcast by ESPN/ABC.
Veteran reporter Holly Rowe will be the sideline reporter for Saturday night's game. Rowe has been with ESPN since 1995 and has been the lead sideline reporter for a number of years.
College GameDay will also be live in Tuscaloosa, along with a bevy of NFL scouts, tons of high-profile recruits, and a former President.
