When discussing Alabama's wide receivers, the list of contributors is typically the same. Ryan Coleman-Williams and Lotzeir Brooks are obvious starters. When NC State transfer Noah Rogers gets healthy, he'll almost certainly have a role. Junior Rico Scott, sophomore Derek Meadows, and freshman Cederian Morgan are all expected to be in the mix as well.
But perhaps a productive newcomer is being overlooked.
Tide 100.9's Ryan Fowler asked Coleman-Williams at SEC Media Days on Wednesday to identify a "sleeper" in the Tide's WR room. He gave an interesting answer.
"I gotta go Tyler Henderson," Coleman-Williams said. "Triple Crown out of JUCO. Super excited for him. He's put on some weight. I'm just super excited for what he's able to showcase this fall."

Henderson was an under-the-radar addition for Alabama this offseason. The Crimson Tide needed to add some depth to the WR room after losing five players to the Transfer Portal in the offseason.
Kalen DeBoer took a couple of swings at some unheralded in-state high school seniors, but also landed Henderson, who was insanely productive at the junior college level last fall.
Playing at Mississippi Gulf Community College, Henderson produced 1202 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns on 67 catches in 2025.
Henderson has some serious speed, and the most encouraging part of what Coleman-Williams said about him is that he has put on some weight. He's listed at 6-foot-1 and 173 pounds on the official roster.
The path to actually getting on the field this year won't be smooth. Henderson has a lot of guys ahead of him, but injuries happen in football, and Alabama needs some guys down the depth chart who are prepared to step up when they are called upon.
Having someone like Henderson waiting in the wings is a luxury. He'll start the season at best as the No. 6 WR on the depth chart, sliding to No. 7 when Rogers returns. But he's only a couple of injuries away from potentially being thrust into action.
With the new five-in-five eligibility rule in place, Henderson, listed as a junior, should have three years of eligibility remaining. He could parlay a year in Alabama's program as a backup into making a real push for playing time down the road.
Don't be fooled by rankings or let his production at the JUCO level be discounted. There's some talent here. Turn on the tape, and you'll see a player who has the potential to carve out a role down the road.
If you let Coleman-Williams tell it, that could be sooner rather than later.
